Jude is a very short book of the bible that falls right before Revelation. The main focus is the destruction of those who do not believe in the Lord. It continues with the idea of persevering (one of my favorite concepts). I feel like our society is in this era right now. There are the scoffers that divide Christians. Just like today in class, discussing if the resurrection really matters-if it could be metaphorical or real...To me there is no question that it is real, but some philosophers scoff at this idea. Yes, they may be intelligent, but part of Christianity is faith. A lot of Christianity is faith-based. And the Lord calls us in Jude to persevere through these times and continue to pray and be wrapped in His love. True-this isn't easy all the time, but it is what we are called to do.
